CALLADIUM : A HUGE LEAF

When I was tidying up my backyard, I found an interesting sight.

A huge Calladium leaf...
It was a kind of wild calladium.
So various calladium grow like crazy during the rainy season.
It was a self grown calladium that popped up from  the compost heap.
A very wide leaf...

These are the normal leaves...

And there was a stalk of flower there.

A simple flower...

A beauty from the compost heap...

Just beautiful...

THE ONLY ONE PAPRIKA

This is my only one paprika or bell pepper in my garden this year.
I sowed four seeds, but only two have germinated, and only one being a survivor.
It's grown on a little pot on my balcony.

And this is the survivor.
Although the shape is not perfect, but it makes me so happy.

Something that make me so worry is about the fruit flies attack, that make our chilli-peppers fallen and decayed.
Hope it will be safe...

SAWI JEPANG IN PROGRESS

These are our Sawi Jepang this week.

For the regular readers, may be still remember with this gift.
You can see the seedling here.
From four seedlings that I got, I share one with my neighbor.
So I still have three seedlings remain, and they grow so well on the raised bed, except a seedling that grows so slowly.

Looks... one of them get flowering.
And another has very fresh leaves.
Two of them grow so high.
So lovely...

I hope I can harvest the seeds for the next planting.
Last week, we taste these leaves.
I think, the taste is almost similar to lettuce.

Just let them grow well and produce fresh leaves and healthy seeds.
Thanks GOD...

FRUITY FRIDAY : LEMON

Look.... our lemon tree is so lovely!
It's producing a bountiful lemons on a little tree.

The little tree looks overloaded.

Some bunches of fruits are touching the ground.

Last Sunday we harvested more than two kilograms of lemon.
We use lemon to make infused water and also lemonade.

We also share the lemons with our friends and also neighbors.
And this week, we harvested about one kilogram of lemon.

Although the shape and the color are not so perfect, but the taste is good enough.
And of course the benefit for our health.

Some fruits have cracked, caused by an extreme weather changes, from very dry weather into very wet weather.
The little tree is covering the azalea.

And there's a tubby visitor....

Thanks GOD...
