I close this series with a complete dishes that made from kembang telang.
There are three kinds of dishes: blue tea, ketan biru and crispy kembang telang.
You have known about two dishes before, for the last one is my new experiment.
To make 'crispy kembang telang' we need:
- 30 pcs fresh kembang telang flowers
- 1 pc egg
- 4 tablespoons wheat flour
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper powder
- Cooking oil
Beat the egg, then add water, wheat flour, salt and pepper.
Whisk all of the ingredients until we get a smooth batter.
Dip the flowers into the batter.
Then fry it in the medium heat oil.
Fry it until the battered flowers are turning to golden brown.
Lift and drain it.
The crispy kembang telang are ready to be served.
All the dishes have been served.
