THE RED OKRA THIS WEEK

This is our tiny patch of our red okra.

There are four plants on the raised bed.

These plants are came from self seedlings that grow on the bed freely.

We have picked some fruits for several times.
The okra then chopped and we made herbal drink from these chopped okras.

The flower is also so beautiful...

BEAUTIFUL SUNDAY WITH MORNING GLORY

Such a beautiful day...

Although this was a cloudy Sunday, but we had beautiful scene in our roof garden.

Three morning glories were blooming.

I think these were 'Grey Haze', but I'm not sure caused by we lost the name tag.

I found some pods have formed from the withered flowers.

I hope they will produce fertile seeds for the next season.
Enjoying the beautiful flowers.

Thanks GOD...

THE SECOND PATCH OF GREEN BEAN THIS WEEK

Buncis or green bean is always grown in our tiny garden all year round.
Our favorite vegetable.

This season, we're growing Tresna, a local variety.

We use to sow the seeds directly into the soil each 6-8 weeks.
When the first flower of the first patch have bloomed, we will sow green bean seeds for the second patch.
So, when the second patch have bloomed too, we will sow seeds for the third patch and more.

And this is our second patch of green bean this current week.
We harvested the first beans yesterday.
We have to prepare the third patch soon.

Thanks GOD...

MULBERRY : FIRST FRUITS

An interesting color that I found from a neglected plant in our front yard.
Red color of little fruits on the slim branches.

Yay... mulberries...

We grow this plant to get so many benefit from the hole part of this plant.
This plant is always remind me into our childhood.
We used to eat the berries when we played outdoor together.
The plant mostly grow wildly as hedge on the village.

Two weeks ago I did weeding on this area, I didn't find anything special here.
I planned  to pull out this poor plant and planting something new on that pot.
I didn't notice the plant.
It might the little fruits have already hang on the slim branches.

As you all know that we use to grow only productive plants,  cause we only have a limited land for gardening.

So... now we are so happy, waiting for the berries get ripen.

Can't wait to taste the fresh fruit, and remembering our childhood.

Thanks GOD...
