KARA ON THE WALL

This is on of several varieties of bean that we grow this season.

'Kara' is an perennial bean.

We let the vine climb on the wall, caused by it grow intensively and need strong support.

I took a two seeds of this bean on July last year, but planted it a month later.

It seem too much leaves on the vine, it might caused by too much shade here on our eastern backyard.

But finally this plant produce fresh beans.

Lots of  beans are covered by leaves.

The young beans are so crispy.

Thanks GOD.

  1. A beautiful bean. I just planted. I'm worried, frosts are coming and the plants will be destroyed.
    Hugs and greetings.

    1. Actually I grow it naturally, with minimum tillage and also fertilizer. The fallen leaves get decomposed and make the soil rich of nutrient.

  4. How great to have a perennial bean - we have to seed our beans every year.

  5. As Sue has said, a perennial bean sounds fantastic! I bought 4 different bean seeds for sowing this year, but of course, I'm locked down, hopefully the seeds will germinate next year!
