I get a lot of thing from my home garden.
From my front yard I find red passion fruits, tricolor chilli peppers and chayotes.
From my back yard I get sweet basil, long peppers, long yard beans, luffa, kara leaves, rambutan, yellow passion fruits, chayotes, green chilli peppers (cabe rawit hijau) and chayote leaves.
I pick rambutan two or three clusters every day.
The young leaves and shoot are fresh and tasty greens.
The chayote vine is bearing the fruit on every leaf axils.
Last week I found more than fifty fruits.
This week I pick 43 fruits from the vine.
I pick long yard beans and long chilli peppers every two days.
The luffa vines are starting their fruiting stage.
From my terrace garden I get red lettuces, green chives, green onions, green mustard and sweet basil.
From my balcony, I get red lettuces and sweet basil.
I love my harvest!
Thanks God!
You must have large place for gardening to get so much of food items from your garden...
ReplyDeleteOh no I only have a small piece of land, 200 meter square for house and garden
DeleteDelight me your exotic plants, many learned through your entries. I send warmth :)
ReplyDeleteI learn more from your garden too. Have a nice day
DeleteAre the luffas the same a s the 'loofahs' I see sold here as bathroom back scrubbers. Spelling is different but it sounds the same.
ReplyDeleteI think they are the same. We usually use the fiber from old fruits as body scrubber or dish washer scrubs
DeleteA lovely harvest, do you store your chillies? as you seem to harvest lots.
ReplyDeleteI keep the fresh chillies in the plastic bag or plastic case then take it in to my refrigerator. That's for our daily needs. We love hot dishes.
DeleteA good variety of things survived all of the wind that you have had.
ReplyDeleteI'm lucky that I can find a lot of thing after our 'hard' weather
Delete43 fruits! What do you do with them all? Do you share or do you freeze or can?
ReplyDeleteI share with my friends and neighbor. This vine will produce fruits continuously during 2-3 years. I keep some in my refrigerator.
DeleteWelcome to Endah!
ReplyDeleteIn you again harvesting?
Amazing. I envy those beautiful vegetables.
