CUT THE GREEN RUG...

I love all green color...
You can see so many 'green' on my home and garden.

Look my green 'rug' in my car port...
This is the favorite place to collect fallen passion fruits.

I planted kacang-kacangan (Arachis pintoi) on the center path of the drive way.
They  grow rapidly, especially during the rainy season.
The dense 'underbrush' is really look like a rug.

Most of the plants lay on the concrete floor.

Then my husband decided to cut the 'rug' and then planted on his parent's house.
He wanted to make a new green 'rug' there.

He cut both the ends of the rug.
That's about one meter square each.

Now, my 'green rug' became tidy and more beautiful.
Keep green, and have a wonderful week.

  1. It's so different, than in Europe. We know passion fruit from juices and someties we have this plant inside, because of our wintertime.
And what we have the same: we love our gardens,
    greetings from Poland, Europe

    1. Thank you for stopping by Magda. In our hot tropics climate, my passion fruit vine be a perennial, and it will be so productive up to five years after planting. My passion fruit vines is about a half and one year old. The vine grow so invasive, also very productive. You're right, we love gardening and our own garden.
Enjoy your day and happy gardening!

  8. Your passion fruit plant are just so wonderful! I have pulled out my plant after 8 months of growing, as they are taking up all the space and even my belimbing tree. So in order to save the belimbing tree, I pulled out the lush passion fruit tree! So sad, but something that I have to do!
Thanks for stopping by my garden!

    1. Yes, passion fruit is very invasive vine, so I have to do triming every week, or my front garden would be a little jungle.
      Thank you for visiting!

  9. How wonderful to have a green rug! I guess I have something like that with the Mosses that thrive during the springtime. But not growing on concrete! That's really fascinating. Cute photo of the little guy gathering the fruits. :)

    1. Thank you. Yes, mosses could be a green rug here in our climate under the big trees or wood.
Have a wonderful week and happy gardening!

  10. This is a nice plant. Better to keep this rather than the normal grass.
Cos the arachis pinto peanut suppress weeds and don't have to mow the grass so often.
