IT'S THE REAL DECEMBER FLOWER

What a surprise...
When I was cooking in our kitchen, my eyes find a red tinge on the raised bed next to the kitchen.

A very interesting object, aha... it was a December flower.

A hidden beauty among the bitter gourd vines and zingiberaceae.

This plant usually blooming in November, but this year looks so perfect...
Our December flower is blooming in December.
You can see our first December flower that in bloom last year here.

A red 'firework' is really awesome.

My son looks in and observes this beautiful flower almost everyday.
Lots of questions that I have to answer.
A very interesting object emerged from the ground, after long time sleep along the dry season.

At least we can enjoy this red firework for more than a week.

A beautiful week...

  2. I agree thar it resembles an allium but I've never come across one that colour.

    1. Yes, as long as I know, allium has blue-purple color and has slimmer petals.

  3. Beautiful! Does it need much care or does it just do its thing tucked away there in the garden bed?

    1. Actually, I just put the bulb on the raised bed, it grows naturally. I don't do special care with this plant. sometimes we find this plant grow wildly on the roadside, especially under the trees.
