This was our neglected raised bed in our back yard.
Actually, this patch was for turmeric.
The leaves turned yellowish.
Look... the turmeric roots were popping up...
Finally, I pulled out all of the poor plants.
Then washed them...
Ready for fresh turmeric root stock.
Thanks GOD
Dearest Endah,

DeleteWe use lots of turmeric but I don’t think it would grow here.
ReplyDeleteIt needs a bit warm climate.
DeleteAmazing! We only knew it as a powder until very recently. It reminds me of harvesting Jerusalem artichoke, but more exotic.
ReplyDeleteThank you. It will grow great in the a bit sandy soil
DeleteWell done, Endah. You have expanded my knowledge yet again. I'll look at tumeric powder in my kitchen in a new way now. P.x
ReplyDeleteThank you, Pam.
