Such a lovely thing... finding beautiful thing for free.
This wild coleus is growing so happy here on our roof garden.
Not sure where the seed came from.
As I remember, it have been growing here since last year.
Blooming intensively.
A simply beauty plant.
Thanks GOD
Interesting that you let your coleus bloom. We tend to grow them for leaf colour so nip the flower buds off.
ReplyDeleteActually, this variety is flowering intensively then common coleus.
DeleteDearest Endah,
ReplyDeleteYes, Coleus is a prolific grower and always happy!
Hugs,
Mariette
Thank you, Mariette. Yes, you are alright.
DeleteFascinating to see them "at home". When I tried to grow these from seed for the first time last year they disappeared overnight. I suspect the slugs got them - or the cold. This year I have a tray that are small but doing OK. Now I know what conditions they like I will have a better chance of success.
ReplyDeleteActually, I have tried so many times sowed hybrid coleus seeds, but have never success. So, growing by cutting is the best and easiest way for me. Hoping you success with your coleus.
DeleteOh, that's awesome! I'll bet they love your climate. I grow them here in the summer and they are very happy with our summer heat and humidity (and shade in my garden). Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Beth.
