SOKA : A HIDDEN BEAUTY

Hey look...
I find a beautiful thing on our hedge.

A beautiful flower is emerging from a green-dense hedge.
It's covered by so many wide green leaves, so the orange color of this flower is so striking.

Yeah... this is my Soka (Ixora javanica).
Its existence is often overlooked.

This plant grows jostling with the others on our front yard as hedge.
It grows so slowly here in our home garden.
It may the soil is too hard and tough.
This plant loves full sunshine, and it will flowering all year round.
But it doesn't happen on our home garden.

Whatever will be, this plant looks so awesome.
Cheering our garden...

  3. It is lovely - it reminds me of a hydrangea in form. No hydrangea would be that colour.

    1. Yes, I think so. Hydrangea is a lovely plant, I grew two varieties last year, but no plants remind.
