BACKYARD PROGRESS

Rainy season is a hard time for us in gardening.
Lots of rains, wet weather, wet soil, very high humidity and many more...
Although we have a good drainage in the garden, but the volume of rain water is much higher than the drainage capacity.
Weed will grow like crazy during rainy season.
Fruit flies, broken and rotten plants are the most problem in wet weather.
Lets check our messy backyard... just a tiny garden...
Lots of weed...
Lots of broken and rotten plants...

Some of the tall plants have collapsed...

The climbers are growing like crazy... climbing here and there...
So invasive...

Rice shell as mulch during dry season have already grown being a rice plants and covering the ground.
but it's worse than common weed.

The eastern raised bed looks so poor...
Several days before I trimmed the pumpkin leaves, caused they took over this area.
Such a shame ... looks not productive...

The additional bed made from used bottles... its a recycled bed.
The rice shell for mulch have turn into a weed... LOL...

This was the only one bed that have already tidied up

We needed a day to tidy up and planted some veggies, herbs and flowers here.

The bed...

Hoping the rain will more friendly...

    1. Saya kembalikan lagi bahan organik yang diambil tanaman dalam bentuk kompos. Kadang masih ditambah sekam padi agar tanah lebih gembur, kak.
