CREAM CHAYOTE'S PROGRESS

My cream chayote is growing so healthy, although it's not as fast as usual.
We can see the chayote seedling here.
I grow it on the early of August.
I planted it on two different places.
The first one is growing so lush, but the second one is growing so poor.
I think the soil is not good enough.

Look... we can see the cream chayote is still there on the ground, but it may not be a food reserves anymore, cause the roots have grown optimally.

I hope they will grow so thrive...
And they will produce lots of chayotes...
I hope...

  1. I planted one of these in a container once, but since I had to bring it inside during the winter it succumbed to spider mites.

    1. Yeah, spider mite is a serious problem on growing chayote. I don't know how many times my chayote's seedlings or little vines were died attacked by these bugs.
