ZUCCHINI : WILL I FAIL AGAIN?

This is for the second time I grow zucchini.
Hope I won't be fail like as my first experience.

Like as my first experience, it looked so lush with green foliage at the beginning.

The flowers, especially male flowers bloom almost everyday.

We can find a lot of flower buds.

Such a nice plant...

Look... the female flower bud, so... fresh...
Looks so promising...

What a shame... from four female flower buds, no one have bloomed.
They failed to bloom, and then dried.
I think this plant have had a favorable condition, good watering, good media and many more.
Readers, have you any tips?
I don't want to fail again.
Thank you for sharing.

  1. Może pojemniki są zbyt małe? Cukinia jest dość żarłoczna i lubi dużo miejsca. Oby tym razem się udało! Serdecznie pozdrawiam.

  2. This year I have a large collection of zucchini.
I put a green, yellow and balls like from you.
Not all the flowers are formed on the fruit.
Zucchini is very fond of a lot of food.
Well planted it on the compost.
    Greetings.

  3. Usually I tear the male flowers off! I still leave 1 of them and then the female flowers grow well. Sometime I pollinate the female bud by hand when the bees there are not around.
    Wish you success Endah!

    1. I think, I should put it on the bigger pot or planted it on the ground.

  5. The plants look small to me as one of my squash might cover a meter of ground. It might take a larger pot in full sun. The female bloom on my plant has a long zucchini formed before it blooms, yours looked round but it may be a different variety.

    1. Yes, I think so. I often see, zucchini plants grow so well on the ground, and look so big. Yes, mine is round version of zucchini. I think I should try to sow a new seeds and grow them on the ground or bigger pot.
      Thank you for the lesson.

  7. I think it is more difficult to grow them in a pot, the plants grow very tall may be it needs a bigger pot.

    1. Yes, maybe the pot is too small, and the sunshine is not optimal. I'm so confuse, cause the common zucchinis grow so compact, not like as mine so long and so tall.
      Thank you for the advice.

  8. Zucchini plant looks healthy. It may need more room to grow. Today I pick 6 zucchini off of 4 plants. If we were neighbors I would share with you. Have a wonderful day.

    1. Yes, I think I should give them more space to grow. Wow, you make me so jealous. Oh, thanks...I've received your zucchini (tips).... lol. By the way, your advice is more valuable than your real zucchini.
