    1. We usually use it as a medicinal plant for diabetic, cough and others.

  2. It is amazing I recognize all the plants in your parents garden as houseplants in our houses, Diffenbachia, Tradescantia and Cordyline I have had them all in the past. Nowadays I almost have no houseplants anymore, to much work beside the garden.
Wish you a great gardening week and that lovely bird is a beauty.

    1. You're right. Houseplants need more handling.
Have a wonderful week in your garden.

  3. Hi Endah, like Janneke, I recognise those plants as houseplants to be nurtured inside ! Lovely to see them grown as they should be ! Also, love the bird - what is it called ?

    1. You know that my father only watering them during the dry season twice or three time a week, no fertilizer on compost that's added there.
The bird is called 'Burung Nuri'

  4. I always get jealous when I see your garden. Like Janneke and Jane said all these plants are houseplants here and I can never grow them all. There is just not enough room. The unknown one is also variety of Diffenbachia.

    1. They grow well on their best climate, I think. Just need a little handling to get them look so flourish.

    1. Dulu sirih merah saya memanjat di dinding sampai atap lantai 2, tapi saat renovasi rumah, tanaman itu tercabut dan mati.
