BLACK CHERRY TOMATO : FIRST HARVEST

This dry season, my tomato patches look so healthy.
Grow so well and produce a plentiful fruits.

I'm growing so many varieties, both old and new varieties.
These are my Black Cherry Tomato.

This is one of three new varieties that I'm growing this season.
I sowed three seeds and there are two plants remain.
Although they are grown on a medium pots, but they look grow so well and raise some bunches of fruits.
I put the pots on my terrace garden, so they get more sunshine  for their growth.

Such a lovely fruits....

Readers, how about your tomatoes this season?

  2. Lovely colour of the black cherry tomatoes, do they taste as good as the normal ones?
I suppose in your warm and sunny country all tomatoes have a good taste. We had a good summer too and the cherry tomatoes (in my greenhouse) did and still do very well, lots of tomatoes of 8 plants. But I have only one type of tomatoes this year. I sowed once striped tomatoes outside, with little success. We grow here many tomatoes in huge glasshouses in our country for export, but outside it is too cold and we have not enough sun.

    1. The taste is almost similar to common tomato. Here, tomatoes grow so well on the medium and also upland area. Almost of cherry tomatoes are grown in green houses and usually only sold on supermarket or for export.

  7. I still have beautiful tomato plants, but the harvest has been over since August. I had huge tomatoes the size of grapefruits! Now my Black Beauty eggplants and heirloom Louisiana "banana" eggplants are producing like crazy. As well as green bell peppers. Now to decide what to plant for Fall. Love your black tomatoes! 1. Wow... sounds so interesting! This season my eggplants aren't doing well. Too much bugs here. And what a shame that I failed again on growing bell peppers.

  10. Your tomatoes are wonderful! Love the colour!
I only have one tomato plant and it is Roma Tomato, which is fruiting right now. Two plants died and I'm left with one, but have sowed some seeds and hopefully I'll have better luck with them. I'm looking into other varieties of tomatoes to grow and your Black Cherry Tomato seems interesting, have not seen this variety before.
