MY HYDRANGEA THIS WEEK

Finally, my hydrangea is blooming.
I have been waiting for about three years until this plant blooming again.
The last blossom was on July 2011.
I've been missing the blossom.

We had house reconstruction for about a year during 2011-2012.
So, we saved our plants on so many places, to keep them stay alived.
Several pot plants were easy to be moved, but plants that grown on the ground were so difficult to be saved.
Some plants finally had died during the reconstruction period.
Oh...what a shame...

Some toughs plants able to survive during the unfavorable condition.
Hydrangea is the one of my tough plants.

After the reconstruction, I redesigned my garden, and have moved some existing plants.
I moved this hydrangea into new place on my front yard, but too much shady there, I think it's unfavorable place for this plant.
But there's no empty space anymore.
Several months ago, I did trimming on several bigger and taller plants around this hydrangea.
And now... I'm finding the beauty of my hydrangea.

I hope the flower will stand on for a long time, and raise the new flower buds, again and again...

Yes, I have been waiting for a long time to enjoy the blossom, cause to much shady on my front yard makes this plant is so difficult to set it flower.

    1. Thank you Kak Mala. Tanaman ini pun sempat merana, karena tanahnya sangat tandus dan ternaungi. Tapi setelah naungan berkurang, kuncupp bunga pun akhirnya muncul.

  5. My wife wanted one so we got it for her last spring and if started to bloom last month. It is just a small one so I will put lots of mulch and cover on it for when winter comes. It is good that your plant was able to survive the move, they seem to root well from a broken limb which also happened to us. I have one growing in a pot that I started.

    1. Yes, you're alright. The stem is usually rooted when it's laying on the ground. So, I can get new plants by cutting the rooted stem so often.
