As a lazy gardener, sometimes I let our home garden looks what it is.
The plants grow naturally looks like as wild.
But sometime that's annoying.
Look... the vine of Bligo or Kundur (Benincasa hispida) is sneaking into the kitchen through the small gaps under the roof.
Dangling...
Fresh new shoot...
New shoot is peeking!
Male flower buds...
Female flower a day after bloomed.
Little female flower bud.
A visitor...
They have been sneaking since three weeks ago, but I have had no time to cut them or tidy up.
Just enjoy the long shoot in the kitchen...
Kak endah...im your silent reader.

DeleteMuch easier to harvest if the plants come into the kitchen. You are certainly not a lazy gardener.
ReplyDeleteOh please, Sue... actually they will grow so poor in the kitchen. Limited sunshine and space too.
DeleteI think it's fun to let them grow and grow as they wish. This plant must want to be a star in your cuisine. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's right, Beth.
DeleteKundur rite at the kitchen and into the cooking! Wow! Amazing right? ;)
ReplyDeleteThat's right! Thank you, Malar.
DeleteHi Endah, that is certainly a determined plant wanting to take a peek into your kitchen ;-)! I have never heard of it, but the flowers remind me of zucchini blooms.
ReplyDeleteWarm regards,
Christina
Yes this plant is member of cucurbitae family, a close relationship with zucchini. Thank, Christina
