ZUCCHINI : TRYING AGAIN

Trying something new in my garden is so exciting.
Zucchini is a challenging plant for me.
I don't know how many time I have tried on growing zucchini.
I have never success  with zucchini.
Have failed on so many stages... sprouting, seedling, transplanting, flowering, or fruiting...hmmm...
The best zucchini plant that I ever had was here and here
Right now... I'm growing a zucchini plant on the raised bed in our tiny backyard.
Actually I have no expectation, caused by there was no sign of sprouting progress of the seed that I put it on the seedling pot.
So, I move the neglected seedling pot into the unused pot rack.
Several weeks later I found a sign of squash sprout, I didn't know yet if that was zucchini plant.
When the seedling have two leaves in August, I transplanted it into raised bed.
Look... this is the plant right now...

The male flower have been blooming...

And I find female flower buds.

Hoping they will set fruits later.
Thanks GOD

ZUCCHINI : TIME TO MOVE...

This season we are growing two varieties of Zucchini in our terrace garden.
Actually we showed three varieties, but only two varieties germinated.
And now they have grew more than as a seedling.

The seedlings are still staying on the broccoli pots.

Some flowers have bloomed.
It may it's too late to transplant into bigger pots.
But I hope they will grow better on the new containers.
I wish...

ZUCCHINI : WILL I FAIL AGAIN?

This is for the second time I grow zucchini.
Hope I won't be fail like as my first experience.

Like as my first experience, it looked so lush with green foliage at the beginning.

The flowers, especially male flowers bloom almost everyday.

We can find a lot of flower buds.

Such a nice plant...

Look... the female flower bud, so... fresh...
Looks so promising...

What a shame... from four female flower buds, no one have bloomed.
They failed to bloom, and then dried.
I think this plant have had a favorable condition, good watering, good media and many more.
Readers, have you any tips?
I don't want to fail again.
Thank you for sharing.

ZUCCHINI : PROGRESS # 3

My zucchinis look grow very well at the first time.
Grow so fast, look so thrives with a plentiful flowers.

The male flower is more dominant.
I get some female flowers buds, but they fail to bloom of course the pollination.

I find a female flower that already pollinated, but the fruit lets became dry and brown, then rotten.

Some leaves get torn, I think it's caused by caterpillar attack, but I haven't been finding caterpillar.

What should I do to get better result.

ZUCCHINI : PROGRESS # 2

This week, my zucchinis are growing so fast.
We can find the male flowers here and there.
Very nice...

The flower buds looks so abundant.
But mostly male flowers.
Maybe I can make a special dish from the flowers.

Hi.... look...
I find female flower buds... one... two... three... four...

Oh no.... a poor flower bud!
I think the bud is failed pollinated.

I should give them more attention...
I hope they will grow well and give me good yield.
