BLOOMING TIME

The beginning of the rainy season is the great time for blooming, especially  our natural species orchids.
Warm weather with a bit high humidity will promote orchid plants or popping the spikes.
This is our Eria  hyacinthoides, get blooming although only  for several days.
So lovely...
Thanks God for the nice weather.

GARDEN ABOVE THE GUTTER

This is the last progress of our project.
A new space for 'gardening' above the gutter.

Cauliflowers, cabbages, greens onion, celery and moss roses on the west rack.

Broccoli, hot pepper, green and red amaranths, green onion and garlic chives on the second rack.

Others broccoli among the cucumber plants.

Tomatoes and bitter gourds.

Next... hot peppers, marigold and red amaranths.

The last row there are hot peppers, rosella, and also eggplant.

Hoping all will grow well and productive.

SUNDAY MORNING HARVEST

A beautiful Sunday morning, sunny day with the blue sky. It seem like it's not in rainy season.
Just weeding in the messy garden, while collecting something fresh from the garden.

The are purplish amaranth, 'Som Jawa' leaves (Talinum sp), Kara beans, tomatoes, passion fruits, 'Kedondong Laut' leaves (Polyscias sp), bitter gourd (Momordica sp), Leunca (Solanum nigrum) and Citrus hystrix leaves for aromatic seasoning.

We made crispy tempura from purplish amaranth, soup from Som Jawa, and sambal (ground hot sauce). That's great for our breakfast.
Thanks GOD...

ENJOY THE HANGING CAT TAIL

Love to see this plant on vertical rack in our tiny front yard.

Yeah... This 'Ekor Kucing Gantung' or hanging Cat tail (Acalypha hispida-pendula) looks so funny, I really love it.

Beautiful plant...

This is my other cat... LOL...

Thanks GOD...
