PEGAGAN AIR

This edible 'weed' finally taking over the path way.

Yeah... Pegagan air or Java pennywort (Hydrocotyle javanica).

Actually I bought this plant in September last year.

It grow and multiply so fast, a typical weed.
The runner grows intensively more than two meters  from the pot.

This edible leaves commonly eaten as salad.

Tidying up the runner, pulled out, then moved it.

Planted some on the raised bed.
Become a part of our harvest.

Just picked leaves and made a kind of tempura from it.
A crispy snack...

Love  it

ENJOYING ORCHIDS ON THE BALCONY

This is the new orchid patch in our home garden.

Actually, I move the orchids from the old patch on the drying area, cause that space is used for vegetables that need more sunshine.

Just enjoy the bloom and how the grow although only in limited nursing.

This white Dendrobium 'Frozen'.... big petal

This is Dendrobium 'Burana white'

The petal is much smaller than 'Frozen'.

Actually, the stalk is broken  by the wind, the second case.

New spike...

I'm not sure what is name.

New spike from a keiki.

Little spike pop up...

The blooming time is over...

CHECKING THE VITAMIN C STOCK

Growing food is a must for us...
For me ... growing vitamin C too... LOL
Good for our health, especially to improve our immunity.

Lets check vitamin C stock in our tiny garden.

Yes... this is our Markisa or passion fruit vine on the back yard.

Growing like crazy... Climbing here and there.

Make a little mess.

Almost every week we have to do pruning to keep the vine on the 'right patch'.

Love to see the hanging fruits are turning reddish, we will pick them soon.

Some ripe fruits fallen on to the ground.

Thanks God...

PARE : FIRST HARVEST OF THE YEAR.

Love to see some Pare or bitter gourd (Momordica charantia) hanging on the trellis next to the kitchen.

The plant is actually self grown, it's came from thrown seeds.

Great taste although its bitter.
Stir fried with baby shrimp or anchovy.

The trellis is too high, in order to get sun shine.

We have to use ladder to maintain and pick the fruits.

We can check  various pare that we've ever grown is on my old post in label pare.

And I also have ever made a series about pare, you can check it up.

Great Volunteer...

Hoping this vine will produce more fruit next.
Thanks GOD!
