So fun... finding self grown Coleus on the raised bed!
As long as I remember, I have never grown this variety.
I'm not sure, it might the seed spread by the wind or other.
Growing so lush...
Actually I really love coleus.
Coleus is the first plant collection.
You can check my old collections on the past here.
This coleus is gorgeous. How lovely! Btw coleus tend to look a little different with different amount of sunlight especially when the plant is young.
ReplyDeleteYes, that's right. Thank you, Stephanie
DeleteColeus really decorates garden with its beautiful leaves, Endah.
ReplyDeleteHow an interesting to see it in your garden. Perhaps the coleus seed was in a pot with newly purchased plant.
That's right, they come as volunteer, a bonus. Thank you, Nadezda
DeleteOh boy--lucky you! I absolutely love Coleus varieties, too. They're such a great way to add color to a shady garden. Here, of course, I must grow them as annuals because of our very cold winters. Great plants, though!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing about your experience. It will match with our shady garden
DeleteDearest Endah,
ReplyDeleteYes, self-sowing plants do show up at times and who knows, maybe inside some bird-poop?
Coleus are like weeds, they grow very vigorously!
Hugs,
Mariette
Yes, you're alright. We have three varieties of wild coleus that grow by them selves. Nature spread plant from new life.
DeleteMaybe you gave bred a completely new variety. 🙂
ReplyDeleteWow... I became a breeder...
