BUNCIS FOR SEED

This little patch is not doing well.
The buncis or green beans are grown on the little pots on the corner of the backyard.

Limited sunshine, heavy rainfall and drought, make this patch looks so poor.
We have a vacation last week, when we went home, our bean are too ripe to be harvested as fresh vegetable.
The beans are too 'old'.
So... it's better to pick them for seed.

No problem...
Always a bright sight in every 'dark' moment...

THE PROGRESS OF THE DRYING AREA

This is a view of the edge of our drying area this week.

We have harvested some edible weed from this patch. 

We have moved the strawberry pots into terrace garden to get more sunshine.
And we put the garlic chives or Kucai here.

This patch is on part shady area.
Chives is more tolerant to the shady place than strawberry.
You can see the patch last month here.

The mustard green have grown bigger.

Some of them have get flowered.
We have to work hardly to move the plants here and there to get the sunshine.

IS IT A KIND OF BLUE IRIS?

I got a very lovely surprise this morning...

When I was passing the drive way in front of the garage, I found a cool thing...

A stalk of blue flowers was blooming.

As I remember I ordered four varieties of iris from online nursery last year.

What a shame, the seller didn't give name tag on each plant.

This is the first blossom.

When I noticed, the leaves are similar to common iris, but when I checked the flowers, I feel I'm not sure.

I think the flower have been blooming since several days ago, cause I found some withered flowers there.

I hope someone tell me what its name.

FINDING PURPLE PEPPER

Finding an interesting color on the corner of our terrace garden.

A kind of purple pepper with beautiful variegated leaves.

Cute pepper...

I think it's kind of ornamental pepper, It might be 'Purple Tiger'.
But I'm not sure...

Love to see the deep purple pepper.

Hoping I will have some healthy ripe peppers and save them for seeds.

And the foliage is so awesome...

As I remember I have ever seen three pepper plants like this before, it mean, this is the survivor.
Hoping this survivor will grow healthy and productive...
