PREPARING RAISED BED WITH GARDEN HELPER
This was about two weeks ago... a very very late post...
yeah... I got sick after this moment, and I had to take a rest for about two weeks.
No blogging post... no gardening activities..
We had tidied up a raised bed that moment... me and my garden helper...
This was the raised bed before it was tidied up...
full of weed and old plant.
Then... pulled out the weed and old crop.
A little dig...
Adding coco peat, egg shells and wood ashes on to the bed...
Spreading crushed egg shells...
Spreading wood ashes from the stove...
But I was lucky... I worked with my garden helper...
The raised bed was ready for new planting season...
Using wooden board for tidying up the soil surface and made planting line.
The various seedling that ready to be grown on the raised bed.
All seedling have already planted on the raised bed.
The veggies have already planted...
Now... we can't wait to see the veggies grow well and ready to be harvested.

A VILLAGE ROSE
We still at the same place...
A local rose plant was growing side by side with Alstroemeria.
Lots of flower buds there...
Although no one in full blooming stage, but they are so exciting.
Love this beautiful one....
Thanks GOD...

FINDING ALSTROEMERIA
Visiting relatives is a tradition after Ramadhan.
As usual, we visited my aunt and enjoy so many special dishes.
In front of the porch we found a neglected pot of beautiful plant.
Yes... a beautiful Alstroemeria...
The plant looks so lush, although it was neglected.
So many stalk were collapsed, it might they needed support.
The flower is so beautiful.
I like the color... so cool and calm...
Finally... I went home with two little Aalstroemeria plants from propagation.
Hoping they will grow well here in our tiny garden.

PHAIUS ORCHID IS BLOOMING
Several two weeks ago I found our swamp orchid or swamp lily (Phaius tankervilleae) showing us the long stalk with so many flower buds on it.
I will have beautiful orchid bloom.
This is the second bloom...
Now... most of the flower buds have blooming.
Such a shame... I have missed the best blooming time...
Some of the flower have withered...
But we can still find the beautiful flowers, and there are some flower buds that ready for blooming soon.
Thanks GOD... for this beautiful nature...

NECTAR HUNTER
Kembang anting (Malvaviscus arboreus) is an old fashion plant that we grow in our tiny garden.
This plant is always remind me into my childhood.
Look ... the red flowers that hanging on the branches, my children always enthusiastic to pick the bloom and suck the nectar.
Actually several times ago this plant was infected by the white flies, so I cut all of the branches.
Now, the new shoots have grow and the plant looks a bit thrive.
The flowers hanging here and there.
My little girl took a bowl and picked the blooms.
Then sit down calmly while enjoy sucking the nectar from the base of the flowers.
She said "it's the real honey..."
Thanks GOD.
