BLOOMING WEED

This edible weed grow so healthy on my raised beds and pots.


We call it Lengko 
Some of them are blooming.


The simple flower is so beautiful.


The feathery seeds ready to flow and spread. 


They are ready for the new life...
New season...


Enjoying the simple beauty...

    I think this weed looks like dandelion here. Its seed flow away as well. What do you eat of this plant? Leaves?

      This plant is up to 1 meter. We use to eat the leaves and flower bud. So aromatic.

    The flowers are similar to our groundsel but more decorative, Groundsel has very small yellow flowers and similat seed heads. It is loved by yellow and black striped caterpillars.

      Yes, this weed is loved by yellow and black caterpillars too. But I have never known about the groundsel.

    Dear Endah, I love the white fluffy seeds of this weed! I am sure the wind can carry it over long distances. What a great survival mechanism of the plant!
