Look the neglected eggplant in our backyard is fruiting.
There are two white globular eggplants.
Actually I didn't know about the variety before the plant get fruiting.
Because this season I'm growing six varieties of eggplant, and I forgot to put the name tags when I was transplanting the seedlings.
They looks so cute...
This is for the first time I grow this variety.
I got a ripe eggplant on August, then I took the seeds from the fruit and sowed them.
I will safe the first fruit for the seeds.
And I will harvest the young fruits later to be eaten raw.
They must be so delicious...
The flower bud is ready for blossom...

Egg plant (we call them aubergine) are so pretty and feel so pleasant, but I don't like the flavour :-(

DeleteI love the colour they have. Most of the ones I find here are purple, I'll try and look for a white one next spring.
ReplyDeleteYes, here in Indonesia, we use to grow green or purple varieties of eggplant. I want to see your eggplant next spring.
