Alamanda (Alamanda chatartica) is always in my mind...
My father grew yellow alamanda on our home garden about tens years ago.
He planted both of alamanda and Bougenville on the front yard.
Every time I see this flower, I will always remember my childhood.
Reminds so many memories in our family.
Several weeks ago we purchased two alamanda plants.
These are Orange version...
We put one on the roof garden, and the other one on the balcony.
They never stop flowering
A simple flower, but so lovely...
Cool color...
Cheering our balcony...
Thanks GOD for every thing
corak warna yang menarik ... cantik
ReplyDeleteYa, saya sangat suka.
DeleteIsn't each strange how some flowers can take us right back into childhood?
ReplyDeleteYes, Sue... Lovely things
DeleteI'm not as familiar with this plant, although I think I've seen it from time to time during travels. I think some people grow it as an annual here. It's certainly beautiful, and special for you with the sweet memories. :)
ReplyDeleteYes, they love warm weather for optimum growth.

ReplyDeleteThanks, Kak Mala. Suka lihat Alamanda akak yg sangat subur
DeleteBeautiful plants.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, they love warmth.
They can not grow in my country.
Now it is dark and 17 o'clock, it is freezing outside - 18 ° Celsius
Greetings from cold Poland.
