This is our new collection in the beginning of September Purple Shamrock (Oxalis triangularis). Here, we use to call it as purple butterfly or 'Kupu-kupu Ungu'.
We got it when our team visited a village. And I went home with some coleus cuttings and this Oxalis.
Thanks friends...
Dearest Endah,
ReplyDeleteGlad you got this variety now too. We got one and had it growing below a tree with purple leaves.
While living at the premises of Dieng Djaya, in one of their GH (Guest Houses) we walked the huge garden often and in the back they also grew veggies. There we discovered huge Oxalis, growing as a weed. To us, it looked special as here they sell it as pot plants around St. Patrick's festival for its clover like leaves. It also grows in gardens.
Hugs,
Mariette
Thank you, Mariette. yes, here green version is mostly grow wildly as a weed. But the purple version is mostly grown as ornamental plant.
