One thing that I love from our tiny back yard... the brick wall that with ferns growing on it.
Self grown... so natural...
Growing wildly ...

  3. Once again you have demonstrated where a plant is happy to grow. The maidenhair fern is sold as a houseplant here (UK) and I have never seen it as happy as it is in your back yard.

  5. The fern (like the one in your last picture) that grows like a weed in my garden has very thick roots. I have pull so hard to get rid of the roots, yikes!

  6. Ferns can grow well anywhere but they look very nice in a hanging pot

  7. Dearest Endah,
Yes, ferns do easily adhere to bricks or anything rough enough to hold onto. The high humidity in the air provides enough for them to survive.
Hoping you and your loved ones are well!
Tonight I will launch my 24th Indonesia post... might this time need lots of help from within Indonesia.
A country so dear to our hearts and with fond memories about our happiest years.
    Hugs,
    Mariette

  8. Low maintenance plants but look so beautiful. I often spot them in the parks near small drains.
