DENDROBIUM : A NEGLECTED ORCHID

I think this orchid is a very tough plant.
I put it on the back yard wall without shading.
Sunshine, rain, hot, dry, cool and so many weather touch this orchid directly.
We are so happy... this plant always show us its spike frequently.
This plant is really neglected plant.
We've never given fertilizer on it.
We only did watering if the weather was very hot and dry.
Look... these pictures were taken in the early of January.

All buds were still closed.

And these are the orchid this morning.

Hidden by papaya leaves.

All buds are blooming.

Too high for me to reach these flowers...

Beautiful....

Such a shame it's neglected

It's really cheering our cloudy morning.

Thanks GOD...

TURI PUTIH : FIRST BLOSSOM

Finally we can find beautiful white flowers from our little Turi tree (Sesbania grandiflora)

This white edible flowers are making me so happy.
From several seeds that we sowed, only two germinated, and this is the survivor.

We grow it on a paint bucket.

And the height is about 1 meter.
Actually there were some flower buds several weeks ago, but all disappeared by the caterpillars.

OPTIMIZING THE WASHING AREA

This was our washing area in the backyard in the late of January.
Sorry... so dirty and a bit mess.
We only had limited time to do gardening chores.
Two red cherry tomato plants on each corner.
One of them is growing so high touching the roof.
We can see the pepper plants as a background.

Tomato seedlings on the cooking oil pouches.
White pakchoy and strawberries in white pots were so lush.

Some of empty pots there.

I should make a new plan to do something here.
Make it tidy and productive...

BETEL : SNAKING......

Snaking...
It might the suitable term to describe the growth of our sirih or betel (Piper betle).
This vine is creeping the on the wall.
It's growing so lush and so fast during this rainy season.
Actually, it's grown from thrown segment.
So lovely...
It's a very useful plant...
It's mostly grown as medicinal purposes here...
