I think this orchid is a very tough plant.
I put it on the back yard wall without shading.
Sunshine, rain, hot, dry, cool and so many weather touch this orchid directly.
We are so happy... this plant always show us its spike frequently.
This plant is really neglected plant.
We've never given fertilizer on it.
We only did watering if the weather was very hot and dry.
Look... these pictures were taken in the early of January.
All buds were still closed.
And these are the orchid this morning.
Hidden by papaya leaves.
All buds are blooming.
Too high for me to reach these flowers...
Beautiful....
Such a shame it's neglected
It's really cheering our cloudy morning.
Wauw...thats all I can say... such a beautifull flowers..

DeleteIt does seem that orchids thrive on a little bit of neglect. I have found neglecting ours in the house a little seems to work well.

DeleteGorgeous, just gorgeous! Oh, to have orchids blooming outside in the garden! I just purchased a mini-Phalaenopsis for myself yesterday--for indoors, of course, here in the north. The blooms are so exquisite. Enjoy your beauties!
