This is my fifth trial on growing red beet root.
This plant might be so easy to be grown in other place, but not in my garden.
Finally, I can find the tubby roots formed.
From ten seeds that I sowed, all have sprouted successfully.
But only three stand on and formed tubby roots.
Not so perfect, but it's OK.
Thanks GOD.
You manage to grow so many things that I magine wouldn't thrive in your climate
ReplyDeleteYes, Sue. That's so challenging
DeleteRed beetroots, one of my favorite vegetables. They grow in our climate very easy, but you have so many other delicious vegetables growing in your climate which are difficult to grow here. Haha, the problem is, that we gardeneres all want to try growing plants not so suitable for our climate.
ReplyDeleteYes, you're alright, Janneke.
DeleteThat's great Endah!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kak Mala
DeleteI never used to like beets, but they're not so bad, sliced thin and roasted like potato chips. Also, the leaves are great in salads!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the experience, Beth.
