On Saturday me with the team visited an integrated farming base on cow.
It's about 80 km from our home town.
This place was in construction process.
A place for learning about cow and how to process the waste, so a zero waste place.
We can see so many things about cow, and watching a documentary film in mini theater.

Cows are big and healthy but they look kind of sad.
ReplyDeleteYes, they need to be free...
DeleteA very interesting place. However, the meadow is neglected, burned by the sun. Cows like lush green grass.
ReplyDeleteI noticed that you have an interesting breed of cows.
Hugs and greetings.
Lucja
That's right Lucia. We've been having a very hot and dry weather for about last six days. It's burning the grass on the farm land
DeleteAn interesting field trip for you, Endah. I love the color of the animals. We don't have many white cows here. P.x
ReplyDeleteIt's local cow.
DeleteDearest Endah,
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of the the huge 1990 project our boss had in Salatiga with 20,000 cows, imported from the USA. They got transported on rebuild cruise ships... CRAZY idea and they all perished as in the hot climate of Indonesia there is not enough fresh food! They really need lush meadows! The meadow in the picture seen here, is just a hay field.
Poor creatures... the main problem they encountered also was diseases!
Hugs,
Mariette
Wow... That's a huge amount of cow. Actually, farm land in Java is very limited, so here farmer usually grow cow in a 'cage'. There's no real meadow on Java...
DeleteSawa's would be a dream for them! Cow stables is not the best...
DeleteSome times, farmers let their cow just 'playing' for a while on their sawah (rice field) after the rice plant have already harvested. But the cows don't get the fresh and green food
Delete🐂
Delete🐄🐮 need fresh food like as human
DeleteWhat an interesting place. Thanks for sharing the information, too. Dairy farming is very prevalent where I live. Like the others, I hope they'll have some quality time in the meadows.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Beth
