We found two spikes of Denbrobium on the wall in our backyard.
A very lush yam bean leaves and Piper betel vine were covering the flowers.
Love to see the beautiful surprise...
It seem so productive this year.
I hope this clump will be more productive next...
Thanks GOD for this beautiful nature.
Dendrobium, a wonderful orchid. I think it so special that you can grow it just in your backyard. I love reading the different growing conditions in comparison with plants in our climate.
ReplyDeleteMe too, Janneke. It's so interesting, always there's a new lesson.
DeleteThat is lovely - what a find! We buy them as houseplants in Britain
ReplyDeleteI think too cool to grow Dendrobium out door there.
DeleteWhat a lovel surprise find. The orchid we have on our windowsill indoors is about to flower again too it has a long spike with buds appearing.
ReplyDeleteSounds so nice and lovely, Sue.
DeleteVery pretty x
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jo.
DeleteYou are so fortunate to have them growing in your garden! I had florist-grown Dendrobium Orchids (white ones) in my bridal bouquet--definitely a favorite flower!
ReplyDeleteWhite Dendrobium... So elegant! I love it!
