This is our Delima or pomegranate bush this week.
Now, the bush is proping on the balcony wall.
These are views from our front balcony.
Peeking the hidden fruit among the leaves.
Different size and maturity of fruits are hanging here and there.
Fresh reddish shoots are growing high.
Beautiful flowers here and there...
The sparkling orange flowers are blooming on the thorny bush.
After we cut the bilimbi tree, this bush grows much better than before.
When I first saw a pomegranate tree the flowers surprised me.
ReplyDeleteYes,Sue. So striking!
DeleteLove pomegranates and their flowers!
ReplyDeleteMe too, Nic!
DeleteBuah delima jenis merah yang saya tanam belum lekat buahnya lagi. Baru belajar berbunga
ReplyDeleteSaya pun harus lama menunggu sampai muncul bunga dan buah, tapi sekarang muncul bunga dan buah hampir tiap hari.
DeleteI love to see pomegranates growing in Tenerife - no chance of having one in the UK I don't think!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I've recently discovered that transplant patients shouldn't eat pomegranate - what a shame!!
Oh please... Actually this plant is really love warm weather to keep the growth on optimum condition. I'm not sure our garden is a favorable place for this plant.
