I have googling for several days to find out how to resolve fruit rot problem.
Our peppers, especially ornamental peppers get rotten during this very wet rainy season.
Then I found a simple technique, add more calcium on the media.
So, I reuse egg shell as calcium suplements.
The egg shell then crushed and 'fried'.
So, it's ready to be spread on the media
I use eggshells to deter slugs. I'll be interested to see how your calcium supplement does!
ReplyDeleteYes, I do the same way like yours. But making calcium supplement is a new thing for me.
DeleteEggshells are here thrown on the compostheap, so that they are used for a healthy garden soil.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I do that too, Janneke.
DeleteThe shells of eggs always I give to the composter.
ReplyDeleteThe soil also sprinkle lime.
Greetings.
