This is our kale patch this season.
Actually I sowed three varieties of kale or kailan, but this is the only one that germinated and then growing healthy.
This is 'Kailan Winsa'.
I'm not sure when I sowed the seeds.
It might be sowed in January.
Love to see the fresh leaves...
They must be grow better if they grown on the ground.
The tubby stem looks so juicy...
I think both of leaves and stem are so crispy.
They must be so delicious to be stir fried.
Mmm... yummy!
That kale looks very different to the sort that we grow.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many varieties of kale. This variety is suitable for hot tropics area, it's local variety
DeleteThe Kale look so fresh! Growing so well! How you cook them?
ReplyDeleteKale is usually stir fried with tofu or meatball, soy beans sauce, chopped garlic and white pepper powder.
DeleteHi Endah, your kale looks indeed very delicious. Hope you get some wonderful stir fry meals out of it! I love the word kailan, sounds so much nicer than kale ;-)!
