PAPAYA : PRUNING TIME

These are our papaya trees this year.
There are four papaya trees in our backyard.
All of them are self grown plants.
I have pulled out some little papaya trees before.
These were our papaya trees about two weeks ago...

Lots of leaves...

Some of them shaded the raised bed.
The plants under these trees weren't growing optimally.
So pruning the leaves was a must.

And it may there are two variety which grown here.

The first has pale green stalk, and the other one has purple stalk.

Look the differences...

Lots of leaves have pruned, and be a great compost heap.
The leaf looks so huge...

Lets check the size...

This is my hand, can you imagine its size?
And these are the papaya trees right now.

Much slimmer...

And I hope the plants under these trees will grow better.
