FRUITY FRIDAY : MANGO TIME...

Last week my husband went home with a basket of fresh mangoes from his parent garden.
Home grown mangoes...

Every end of the year is mango season.
Almost of the mango trees here are fruiting.
During the mango season, my husband usually go home with these fruit.
All fresh ripen from the tree.

This is Arum Manis, a popular variety here.
Arum means fragrant, manis means sweet, yes... it's so sweet and aromatic.
The flesh is juicy, but a bit crispy when it nearly ripen.
We really love this fruit so much.
Thanks GOD

  1. I love mangoes but no chance of home grown ones here. The ones we buy are just labelled mangoes - no variety name.

  2. Yum! Mango is one of my favorite fruits. I actually crave it in the middle of winter--I think for a need of vitamin C and immunity-boosting nutrition. Plus, mangoes have such a wonderful flavor. Enjoy!
