SEEDLING TIME

Last year, we only have a little varieties of vegetable in our tiny garden.
It caused by we only had limited time for gardening and also we couldn't manage time well.
So I hope, I can manage time better this year.
I started sow seeds on the end of January.
Mostly leafy vegetables, green is our favorite...
There are some varieties of tomato, pepper, eggplant, chinesse  cabbage, pakcoy, mustard green, kale, basil and many more.
I put the seedling on the southern balcony.
This place a part of shady area, and still get morning sunshine for healthy growth.
It's the safe place  for seedling area, free from our kitties.
They really love playing and jumping on the pots then broke the tiny plants.
Such a shame some times I forget to keep watering the seedling.
Some seedlings finally get drought and died.
I have already move the seedling into individual pots or other containers.
Keep trying, keep sowing, keep growing...

SELF GROWN PAPAYA TREE

Our backyard is a partially  shaded, caused by a papaya tree is growing high.

The  raised beds looks a bit unproductive, cause there are too much shade here.

Actually Our raised beds had lots of self grown papaya seedlings.
We pulled out lots of the seedling and only one tree remain on each bed.
I'm sure it comes from the homegrown compost  that we use on the raised bed.

The young fruits have already hanging on the tree.

Such a lovely volunteer.

Thank's GOD...

We got a handful of little red cherries almost every day.

We picked Kembang telang or blue butterfly pea (Clitoria ternatea) for several time.
Red hot peppers and yellow tomatoes were ripening regularly.

The young tender cassava leaves and passion fruits were picked after we tidying up our back yard.

Use eco friendly products is much better for us.
But some time we get gifts or products that packed by plastic bag or other plastic sheet.

So, Reuse and recycle that product is the best way.
Finally we made a flower arrangement from used plastic bags.
