Share... share...and share...
How wonderful we can share each other.
So much pleasure and so much benefit...
We get that we don't have in our home garden.
This is from my friend, Mr & Mrs. Nugroho, thanks for the sweet bananas.
They said that this banana came from their garden, first harvest...
Let's make a special dish...
Banana stir fried with chocolate sauce...
A very simple recipe..
Split the banana and stir fry for a moment...
Ready...
Fresh bananas. Plucked from the garden.
ReplyDeleteMy guess is that this is an unusual flavor.
I do not know him ...
Sharing gifts is a beautiful custom.
Have a good Sunday.
Greetings from rainy and cold Polish.

Here, we have hundreds local varieties of bananas. Some are for eaten raw or to be proccessed. Here there are some banana markets which provide so many kind of bananas.
DeleteHave a wonderful weekend
Very different shapes to the bananas I am familiar with.
ReplyDeleteThis is a local variety. This banana is great to be processed. But on the peak of the maturity, we can eat it fresh. The taste is so sweet.
DeleteWow they look interesting! Your dish looks good too!
ReplyDeleteThank you Pumpkin Lady.
DeleteEndah , thank you so much for the share .
ReplyDeleteI will try this !
Thanks Willow.
DeleteWe usually have one type of banana but I have had some little ones that are not exactly like yours and they had a real nice taste. I think our bananas are selected for their shipping quality and not the taste. Your stir fry looks so good.
ReplyDeleteI think so. Bananas will give us the best taste if we harvest the tree ripening fruits. But if the bananas will shipped, the fruits should be harvested about a week before they get their full ripening stage.
DeleteThe banana dish sounds delicious. Chocolate and bananas is a very tasty combination!
ReplyDeleteIt was very nice of your friends to share with you!
Thanks Dorothy. We usually share something that we have, especially if we have lot of yield
DeleteAaah bananas...so jealous right now. Why can't we grow bananas here. I can only dream of having a nice big tree.
ReplyDeleteActually banana is a lovely plant. The growth so fast, needs a little maintenance and can produce it fruit from the clump all year round
DeleteLooks wonderful...Most of our bananas are ship to the US from other countries.
ReplyDeleteI have heard they are much sweeter when pick from the tree.
Yes, that's right. For home grown banansa, we harvest the cluster when the skin become yellowish. The taste is much better.
DeleteLooks delicious with the chocolate, I like the taste of bananas but we get here only one variety because we cannot grow them here. When I visited Indonesia a long time ago I was surprised about the many different bananas. I bought some one a station when we were in the train from Bandung to Yogjakarta, these obviously were wrong ones because they had so many seeds. They told me these were bird bananas, is that correct?
ReplyDeleteYes, there are some banana with the seeds inside for birds. But they will be great snack or dishesh when we process them. There is 'pisang klutuk' that we eat immature fruits for traditional fruit salad 'rujak'.
DeleteSuch a simple dish, yes, but it looks yum, yum, yummy! I will have to buy some bananas and have them like this. I've never seen bananas growing. How wonderful to have them so fresh!
ReplyDeleteYou can spread grated cheese on the stir fried banana, it will more delicious.

ReplyDeleteyum yum! What color, do not know those of us only yellow :) I love bananas. With chocolate sauce have not eaten, I have to try. I greet. Anna
In seversl varieties, the banana have a little bit of sour also the sweetness grade is too low, so we process it in to various dishes. Have a nice day
DeleteI bet my boys would enjoy those!
ReplyDeleteA very simple recipe, but so delicious
