GARDENING ON THE BALCONY : JULY 2014

This is my eastern balcony, today.

The sawi keriting (curled mustards) are growing so well.
I really love to see this greens, looks so stunning...

The celeries look so thrive...
I pick some old leaves for daily uses.

I still have some kailans that grow so slowly.

There are two lettuces remain on my balcony.

Finally, my pakcoy 'Wazuka' show me their 'real form'.
Now, they are growing rapidly, after their 'slow motion' at the first.

The only one Sawi Hijau (green mustard) that grown for it seeds.

This is my lovely Andewi (endive).
It looks like a huge green daisy.

And the last, I have some Sawi Bunga (flowery mustard).
They are still so small, side by side with my endives.
Hope all will grow well and healthy...

    1. No, it doesn't. This is leafy variety, that the stem is slim. I've never grown stick celery nor celeriac.

    1. I love to hear and see how busy all of my friends on sub tropical area do canning their harvest for the supply during the winter. Here, we usually use fresh products for our daily meal. Make relish, pickle, jam, or other canning products are really interesting for me.
