Look what we got...
Last two weeks, my husband took home a big plastic bag that full of avocados.
He picked lots of avocados from his parent garden.
A home garden that full of fruits.
A week before, he took home some fresh mangoes from that garden.
That's so nice.
Actually, when they were picked, these avocados had already ripen, but the flesh were still so hard.
It needs time to make the flesh soft, and ready to be eaten.
Just let them stored on the room temperature for about 4-14 days depend on the degree of maturity.
Now, all of the fruits have full ripen with soft and smooth flesh inside.
Look the size... so big...
But the seed is fairly small.
Very thick flesh and less fatty texture.
A high quality avocado that full of vitamins, minerals, and folic acid, a healthy food for my pregnancy.
I'm so sorry, I have lost the picture of fruit split.
Have a great Friday with your own fruits.
Wow that is one big Avocado, the ones that are in our stores do not come that large.
ReplyDeleteCould you save the seed (let it dry) and plant it for your garden? So happy for you what a great blessings. How nice of your in laws to share with you.
Yes, they were so big. Sometimes we find the bigger avocado. Actually I want to grow it on my garden, but it will be a huge tree. It's not suitable for my little garden.
DeleteI've never tried an avocado - maybe I should.
ReplyDeleteYes, I think you should
DeleteThey are huge! I ate one tonight, but it wasn't as big as yours.
ReplyDeleteI had ever found the bigger avocados from thet tree. So huge!
Deletewow... envy with your huge avocado,...
ReplyDeleteYes Kak Mar, I really love it!
DeleteEndah, I just bought a couple of avocado trees from the nursery. It was imported from Indonesia. I wonder how long will it take to bear fruit. I think the tree is grafted, not from seedling. Love avocados..
