Papaya is one of our favorite home grown fruit.
My son loves it so much.
Maybe you still remember my old papaya tree on the picture below.
Yes, this plant have collapsed, fallen down into the ground last December during the windy rain.
So, I bought two seedlings of papaya 'Calina'.
The nursery man said that this variety was early harvest type.
The fruit will be formed since six months after planting and also it a type of dwarf papaya.
So... it really appropriate to my little garden.
Like as my older tree...
I hope they will grow so healthy and productive.
I remember papaya on the breakfast buffet a very long time ago when I was in Indonesia, it was delicious!

DeleteMemang my favourite juga. Rasanya perlu ditanam juga dirumah. Harga sudah tinggi sekarang ditempat saya. Dari RM2.50 mendadak ke RM4.50 sekarang...

ReplyDeletePapaya and mango need warm-hot weather for their growth. I think it's not easy to grow them on your climate.

Papaya has become expensive fruit here! Young time, it was really cheap and the plant is everywhere
