It's too hot to grow beet on my home garden I think.
The growth of these plants were so slow.
Here in Indonesia, beet is only grown on the high land with a very cool weather along the year.
This is a minor vegetables here.
We can find it grown on some highland more than 1000 meters from the sea level.
The best result on growing beet on my garden was about 2 cm on diameter.
That was too small...
Never stop trying...
Stay growing...
Keep Learning....
So inspiring friend! And such powerful words! A wonderful day to you! Nicole xo
ReplyDeleteThank you, Nicole!
DeleteYa betul Endah, never stop trying..learning!
ReplyDeleteYes, that's right Kak Mala.
DeleteThat's a shame, is there something else you could grow in its place?
ReplyDeleteYes, there is. I think tropical plants much better for my garden.
DeleteI always grow beet, Endah. I love this vegetable and we cook traditional beet soup. I see your seedlings are small now, I prefer to feed them with carbamide, it grows faster.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your advice. I think I should try it.

DeletePantas beet yg saya tanam kurang tumbuh baik dan akhirnya mati, :)
ReplyDeletetapi beet Bu Endah cantik lho, dengan square planternya..
Memang butuh ketelatenan, jika bakal umbi mulai muncul di permukaan, perlu dibumbun biar tidak sampai pecah/cracking.
DeleteThat is the good thing about gardening - there is always something new to learn and something else to try! What will you grow instead Endah ?
ReplyDeleteYou're right, Jane. I'm not sure what will I grow instead.
DeleteDear Endah, thanks for leaving a comment on my blog! I admire you for being willing to experiment in your garden and for your enthusiasm for trying, growing and learning. I think that is the best attitude that a gardener can have. Warm regards,
