OUR LIME ON THE PORCH

This is our 'jeruk sambal' or aromatic line on the porch.

Some fruits are hanging on the little tree.

The juice is mostly used on 'sambal' a traditional ground chili sauce.

Sometimes it used for infused water.

So fresh and juicy...

Fresh aroma...

Although the taste is sour...

  1. Dearest Endah,
Did not know about the Jeruk sambal, we have a Jeruk perut for use of its leaves in my Thai soup. Love its flavor.
    Yours looks really healthy.
    Hugs,
    Mariette

    1. Yes, we grow jeruk purut or kafir lime (Citrus histrix). We often use the leaves as a part of spices. Flavoring the dishes, great aroma
