This morning, my friend is bringing us a bunch of banana.
As usual we share what we have from our home garden or kitchen in our office on Friday.
We call this banana 'Pisang Mas Kirana'
This is a specialty banana.
The price on the market is fairy expensive, caused by it privileges.
This banana always present on every traditional event or ceremony, such as wedding, anniversary, birthday, and many more.
Although the fruit is fairy small, but every body really love it.
The taste is so sweet and smooth.
The skin is golden yellow, so pretty...
In a bunch usually there are 12-20 fruits.
Just a simple fruit for our Friday this week.
Enjoy your fruity day...
Salam Endah,
ReplyDeleteLama sungguh tak makan pisang emas ni. Kalau di buat murtabak pun sedap juga..
Salam Honey...
DeleteTak perlu nunggu diolah, pissng yang segar pun langsung tandas... saking enaknya...
hahahahahahahahaha
DeleteI think you will do that, especially if you are hungry, aren't you? LOL...
DeleteThey look so dinky & sweet, I bet they didn't last long!
ReplyDeleteYes, that's right. This bananas is usually in a good condition until a week after harvesting. Cause for loca market, we only harvest the tree ripen fruit, but the skin is still green
DeleteI love bananas, but I tried only those my country imports from other countries, I wish I tasted a banana as fresh as it could be :)
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you could be. Yes, here we only harvest the tree ripen fruit, but the bananas do not long lasting. The taste is much better. For export, the bananas are harvested earlier in order to stand on during shipping period.
DeleteA large bunch of bananas. They look tasty. Have a nice habit in your office :))
ReplyDeleteYes, there are 24 bananas in this bunch. They are really tasty, you will eat more and more.
DeleteThanks... there are so much fun on our habit 'Friday share'.
They look so nice, I have had a small variety of banana of some kind and the taste was so much more fruity than the regular large ones we usually get. Your bananas look so fresh, I can only imagine how good they smell.
ReplyDeleteYes, the tree ripening bananas have really good smell and more sweet. We can not find the smell on the early harvesting bananas.
DeleteOn Wednesday I bought a bag of over-ripened bananas from my local grocery store. Guess what I found inside! A bunch of those lovely tiny bananas! Most were just perfect and delicious. What a real treat! You are so lucky to have them grow near you. Have a great weekend!Linda@Wetcreek Blog
ReplyDeleteBanana skin is very perishable. Too cold or too hot temperature will make the skin turn brown-black, but the pulp inside is still good enough. You were so lucky found perfect and delicious banana there.
DeleteThank you for stopping by.
Have a nice weekend.
Bardzo lubię banany ale nie mam pojęcia o ich odmianach. Kupuję takie jakie są w sklepie. Te wyglądają bardzo apetycznie. Przesyłam pozdrowienia.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that you love it. Banana trees need hot and humid weather all year round. Maybe, growing banana on your climate looks like growing tulip on my climate.
DeleteEvery climate have their own specialty crops.
Have a nice weekend!
It looks delicious. Does it only grow in Indonesia?
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure, I think it could be grown in South East Asia with hot-humid climate.
DeleteThose are so cute,I love to taste one... our banana's are import from another country.
ReplyDeleteHow nice of your neighbor to share.
Yes, you should try the fresh one someday. The taste is much better!
DeleteHave a nice weekend!
How wonderful to have fresh-picked Bananas! Although they are one fruit that retains its flavor pretty well, even after shipping long distances. Bananas are so tasty and nutritional, and they make just about any blended drink better! Those little ones are cute.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, is there a Fruity Friday meme? I always thought that would be a good one because even those of us with cold winters have fruits in our gardens year-round. Let me know if you know someone who hosts it. :)
DeleteThank you so much!
DeleteI don't know if there is a Fruity Friday meme. I usually use some 'standard title' for my regular themes; such as Fruity Friday, Terrace Garden Update, Gardening on The Balcony, Gift of the Week, Weekly Harvest, etc.
Yes, I'm agree with you. It sounds so interesting if there is the a Fruity Friday meme.
You can find this pisang emas everywhere here... if the skin turned black and the fruits not rotten we always make banana cake...
ReplyDeleteYes, we have similar climate, so we have similar flora.
DeleteIt sounds so delicious Kak Mar!
Wow, appetizing bananas.
ReplyDeleteThank Lucia! I hope someday you could taste the fresh one
