This dry season, my front garden is so colorful.
The yellow cosmos grows so healthy, and have close a part of my pathway.
They do really love this dry and warm weather, and of course bright sunshine.
Some plants grow so highly, and one of them is more than 2 meters in height.
So fantastic...
Their growth are so lovely...
Love the flowers and love the color...
Cosmos memang suka cahaya matahari penuh. Cantik cosmos kuning. Cosmos orange saya untuk musim kedua sedang berbunga juga.
ReplyDeleteWah... cosmos orange yg musim ini belum berbunga. Musim lalu banyak bunganya, tapi rebah kena hujan.
DeleteUniverses look beautiful in yellow.
ReplyDeleteI've never met such seeds. They are white, pink, purple, lilac.
Yellow no.
Greetings from Polish far :)
Yes, yellow color will enlighten our world. It's not easy to grow the white-pink shades cosmos. They are only grown on high land tropics.
DeleteHave a beautiful day Lucia...
I'm growing the pink and white versions but the slugs love the young shoots.
ReplyDeleteOh please... I hope you still have some healhty plants remain.
DeleteNice yellow flowers, I think I may have seen them here before but most of my flowers are wild.
ReplyDeleteI guess you may find some wild cosmos on the meadow during the summer. The wild version usually has smaller flower.
DeleteOlá amiga, vim desejar-lhe uma abençoada semana.
ReplyDeleteDoce abraço Marie.
Thank you. Have a nice day!
DeleteVery pretty, we don´t have the yellow ones over here, only white and pink. I wish you a nice week and a good harvest!
ReplyDeleteYours Sarah
Thank you Sarah!
DeleteThis yellow cosmos loves warm and dry weather. Maybe it could be grown there on the summer.
Have a nice week

DeleteA simple flower that cheering my little garden.
salam kenal, yellow cosmos ni cukup cantik dan amat sesuai dijadikan jambangan segar...
ReplyDeleteTerima kasih @na sudah singgah. Betul, saya memetik beberapa tangkai untuk hiadan meja.
DeleteWow yellow cosmos. It's really pretty. I have only pink cosmos, and this year I bough fizzy cosmos.
ReplyDeleteI see... your cosmos looks so great, so beautiful. I couldn't grow pink cosmos variety like yours, too hot I think.
DeleteCosmos is another plant that used to grow and reseed easily in my garden, but it doesn't seem to want to grow anymore. Perhaps it's my heavily mulched flower beds. A few years ago I planted the yellow ones from seeds I received free in the mail from a gardening company and they grew and flowered for a few years. This year I planted white ones from packs that I bought from a local nursery. They have since shriveled and died! Your plants look very happy!
ReplyDeleteThanks Dorothy! Yes, I'm agree with you. My yellow and orange cosmos grow rapidly on my hot climate, but do not for the neddle leaved cosmos (Cosmos bipinnatus) with white-pink-purple tones of flower. They need cooler temperature, so they only grow well on the highland tropics. I have ever grew them, but did not success. Thank you for coming, and happy gardening!
