Last August I planted Kembang Odol (Gloxinia perennis) in my front yard.
Kembang means flower and Odol means toothpaste.
This is an old fashion flower.
I love the colors and the scents.
The minty scent look like a toothpaste smell.
I got this plant from my cousin.
I've never planted before, so...I didn't know about its habit.
But two months later the plants were disappeared from my yard, I thought the plants were dead.
I had planned to take this plant again from my cousin's garden.
But on December I saw some foreign shoots emerge from the former site of the Kembang Odol planting.
Last month I saw the plants were emerging some flower buds.
It must be so fresh...
I hope there are no pests that will interfere its beauty.
I wish...
Please enjoy the progress.
