A glossy look, beautiful foliage.
I grow two variety both of green and brown.
An easy growing plant, with little handling.
This plant is shady lover.
But the best growth is on the part shady area.
Too much shade makes the leaves will turn pale and thin.
And too much sun shine makes the leaves get burned, turn yellowish, dry, thick and smaller.
This plant is usually used as hanging pot plant or as ground cover on the landscape.
You can see my episcia as 'pot cover'....
A simple collection from my little garden...
Great plants.

ReplyDeleteYes, so lovely.
DeleteYou have fine collection of plants! I don't have luck with most of them! hahahha....
ReplyDeleteThanks Malar. They grow like crazy on my garden!
DeleteThe leaves of this episcia is striking. I have killed a few kinds of episcias before due to overwatering during rainy season. So now I am only left with tougher ones.
ReplyDeleteOh, what a shame. I have lost the velvety leaved variety. That's so beautiful. I've been looking for that variety to be grown on my garden, but haven't find yet.
