COSMOS : THE LITTLE PINKY IS BLOOMING

This is my edible Cosmos (Cosmos caudatus).
Here, we usually call it Suring, Kenikir or Patraseli.
The tender shoots and young leaves are usually eaten raw, steamed, boiled or cooked with coconut milk.

I planted some on my raised bed for green vegetable.
I do grow two plants on my front yard with others variety of cosmos, as ornamental and also produce seed for the next planting's season.

Although the flower is smaller than common Cosmos, but the color of the petal looks so beautiful.

Please enjoy the beauty...

  5. Very pretty, even if not as showy as the ornamental kinds. We get those here, but I would love to grow this variety as well.
